Role and Schedule: This position is full-time and based at our Carrollton office, with interviews being scheduled immediately upon receipt of applications. Hourly compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour depending on background, supplemented by a 401(k) retirement structure with matching contributions.
Front Office Expectations: Ideal applicants will possess prior experience navigating dental EHR platforms, particularly Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to execute front-desk administrative protocols including insurance verification, claim processing, and HIPAA compliance. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and a minimum of one year of prior dental reception experience are highly valued assets for this role.

Pediatric and Ortho Office- Dental Receptionist

Job Summary: A growing pediatric and orthodontic dental practice is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and friendly full-time Dental Receptionist to join its front desk team. The role focuses on serving as the primary point of contact for young patients and their families, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and efficient administrative workflow.
Key Responsibilities: Primary duties include greeting patients, checking individuals in upon arrival, managing multi-line phone systems, and scheduling or confirming appointments. Administrative tasks include gathering updated patient data, verifying identifications, processing payments, and addressing general billing questions. Additionally, the receptionist will verify insurance details, process clinical claims, manage electronic health records with strict confidentiality, and maintain an organized reception area.
Team Collaboration: The chosen candidate will work within a collaborative, modern, and technology-driven environment. You will partner closely with clinical and back-office staff to deliver a positive, stress-free, and patient-centered experience for children and teenagers.

Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Saturday: Open two Saturdays per month by appointment only
Sunday: Closed

• Experienced Dental Receptionist / Admin (1+ years)

Requirements: Candidates must be reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong multitasking and clerical skills, including the ability to handle multi-line phone systems, are required.

• Dentrix

Preferences: Prior experience of 1 year or more in a dental front desk role is preferred. Proficiency in dental EHR systems such as Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend is preferred. Professional fluency in Spanish is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and general dental terminology is preferred.
